Lead the Senior Inside Sales Manager (SISM) function for the Private Sector in Alaska to have a hand in transforming tomorrow.

As a Senior Inside Sales Manager you have the opportunity to partner with the Private Sector Sales Leader for Alaska and our operations teams to enhance our sales effectiveness, increase the discipline in our sales process, and continue building our Alaska business. SISMs work with teams to develop and document a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and drives this understanding and our solution strategies into our sales deliverables. During your time with us you will:

  • Interface with the Private Sector Sales Leader to identify and prioritize strategic sales opportunities

  • Develop plans to respond to client requests for proposals, presentations and other information

  • Lead proposal and presentation teams for the most strategic pursuits

  • Work with other Portfolio SISMs to share lessons learned and best practices across the Private Sector

  • Develop Inside Sales resources to expand their understanding of the Alaska business

  • Lead the disciplined implantation of the CH2M Sales Process

  • Review and comment of sales deliverables prepared by others to improve the overall content quality

  • Participate in management reviews for Alaska pursuits and strategic initiatives

  • Participate in Go/No Go discussions to help align consensus on sales and proposal execution planning

  • Actively engage with Outside and Inside Sales to influence pursuit team on sales process discipline, win strategy and proposal development, interviews and presentation

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • BS degree required in a technical or business discipline

  • 10 years of experience associated with Client Account Relationship Management/Sales

  • Proven track record of creating high quality, compelling sales deliverables

  • Leadership skills with the ability to work across geographies and to interface directly with executive level leaders within CH2M

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for success in this position

  • Management skills for pursuit budgets, schedules, and assignments

  • Ability to lead a proposal team, establish and communicate a plan, motivate the team, connect the dots within a company to offer solutions, and produce high quality outcomes

  • Ability to learn how our teams operate and complete projects in Alaska. A technical background in delivering or managing projects is considered a positive but not required

  • Successful track record of being innovative and bringing differentiated solutions to clients
