As an Inside Sales Manager you will be an integral part of CH2M’s Inside Sales organization and will partner with our Client Sector sales and delivery teams to plan, lead, drive, and manage a variety of strategic business development assignments and to position CH2M for success.

• Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to help identify, position, and win strategic projects, and help deliver the resources and capabilities of CH2M • Lead proposal and presentation teams for a variety of pursuit types and sizes, including highly strategic and complex opportunities, geared to the specific requirements of the client • Foster strong, mutually beneficial working relationships with members of our Client Sectors, Inside Sales, and broader sales and operations staff, locally and across our global network • Look at the 360 degree view of an opportunity to identify risks and challenges then collaborate with a team to weigh our success, sometimes acting as the challenger or healthy skeptic to ensure the team has evaluated all concerns • Coach and mentor less-experienced staff within Inside Sales, as well as provide broad technical or functional guidance and leadership to others within Inside Sales • Coordinate, develop, write, edit/tailor, and perform research for proposal sections with technical input and review; develop executive summary-level sales documents; ensure compliance; proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate potential issues/ variances • Champion knowledge management, sharing of client information & best practices • Actively follow CH2M Inside Sales processes, protocols, and best practices, as well as CH2M Branding Guidelines • Conduct debrief meetings on completed proposals and apply lessons learned to future efforts

The minimum qualifications for this position are:• Bachelor's Degree in Technical/Scientific discipline, Business, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field from an accredited university • 10+ years of experience managing and developing proposals, presentations, and related sales or business development deliverables • Sales-minded, able to articulate client-centric differentiated win strategies and value propositions on pursuits • Well organized, able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, engage with various stakeholders/reviewers, and concurrently oversee the work of IS support staff • Strong leadership qualities; able to manage and direct proposal teams, help drive the sales/proposal process, and coordinate/negotiate with teams both in person and remotely • Ability to work with diverse teams, from less experienced Inside Sales staff to senior company leaders/executives • Ability to lead a proposal team, establish and communicate a plan, motivate and direct the team, connect the dots within a company to offer solutions, and produce high quality outcomes • Fluency in business objectives, priorities, and sales strategy, especially as they relate to the proposal process • Willing to travel, as needed, to support pursuits

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• Thorough knowledge of company markets, clients, emerging business, and industry trends; actively integrate that knowledge in work activities • Marketing and proposal leadership experience for Seattle public sector clients.
