CH2M Inside Sales Proposal Coordinator/Manager - Seattle, WA in Bellevue, Washington
In this role, you will be an integral part of CH2M’s Inside Sales organization to plan, lead, and support a variety of strategic business development assignments and to position CH2M for success.

In this position, you will partner with our CH2M Client Sectors and other Inside Sales team members to work on a variety of sales activities, ranging from qualification statements to strategic, complex proposals and presentations. During your time with us you will: • Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to help win strategic projects and help deliver the resources and skills of CH2M • Engage with the pursuit team on sales process discipline, win strategy and proposal development, interviews, and presentations • Independently lead the coordination and preparation of proposals of varying sizes, as well as take ownership of sections of major strategic efforts working in conjunction with more experienced Inside Sales staff • Independently coordinate, write, edit/tailor, and perform research for proposal sections; ensure compliance; proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate potential issues/variances • Serve as a subject matter expert on, advocate, and actively follow CH2M Inside Sales processes protocols and best practices, as well as CH2M Branding Guidelines • Foster strong, mutually beneficial working relationships with members of our Client Sectors, other Inside Sales staff, including junior and senior sales staff, graphic designers, and document publishers, both locally and across the network • Employ and populate/update (as appropriate) business development-related tools and databases • Coach and mentor less-experienced Inside Sales staff • Conduct debrief meetings on completed proposals and apply lessons learned to future efforts
The minimum qualifications for this position are:• BS/BA or equivalent • 5+ years of relevant experience managing and developing proposals, presentations, and related sales or business development deliverables • Proposal leadership experience in the engineering, architecture, and/or construction industries • Advanced English writing, editing and proofreading skills, with an eye towards sales messaging, themes, proposal aesthetics, and content • Strong leadership qualities; able to direct proposal teams, help drive the sales/proposal process, and coordinate/negotiate with teams both in person and remotely • Well organized, able to manage multiple tasks concurrently and engage with various stakeholders/reviewers • Ability to work with diverse teams, from less-experienced Inside Sales staff to senior company leaders • Ability to lead a proposal team, establish and communicate a plan, and produce high quality outcomes
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• Knowledge of company markets, partner/competitor/subconsultant firms, clients, emerging business, and industry trends; and the ability to actively integrate that knowledge in work activities • Marketing and proposal experience for Seattle public sector clients • Willing to travel as needed to support pursuits
