CH2M Water Business Group O&M Sales Manager - East Coast, FL, GA, Location Flexible in Cape Canaveral, Florida
This position provides an exciting opportunity to support growth of our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) practice worldwide.
We are looking for a proven sales leader capable of developing creative solutions in solving municipal clients’ water and wastewater challenges while helping grow our O&M business. We seek a results oriented and proven sales professional with approximately 10 years of relevant experience capable of working independently. As a Sales Manager, you should expect to: • Support business development activities leading to the award of O&M contracts. This typically includes client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, oral presentations, and contract negotiations consistent with established business development processes. • Demonstrate the ability to build, manage, positively motivate, and work within high-performance technical and sales teams. • Support our delivery teams during the initiation phase of new O&M projects and in some instances, continue to serve as a client service manager following award. • Participate in conference activities such as trade show booths, client hospitality events, and industry presentations. • Demonstrate the ability to build trust and relationships with internal client portfolio managers and external clients and educate both on O&M delivery options and approaches. • Lead and manage teams through all phases of a pursuit to accomplish established objectives consistent with our business development process and within set budgets and schedules. • Be accountable for generating statement-of-qualification packages, proposals, and/or presentations, in partnership with the procurement team, that are client-focused, meet proposal requirements, and are consistent with the sales strategy while simultaneously ensuring that CH2M’s business and policy expectations are met in the areas of: health and safety, quality, financial, project delivery, and risk management. • Demonstrate effective listening and strong team and consensus building skills.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the water and wastewater O&M industry.
Willing to travel significantly throughout the US and Canada.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Strong understanding of both project delivery and business development tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project and sales teams to successfully meet client expectations. Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation and ability to work independently, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and strong organizational approach. Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams
