CH2M Water Treatment Technologist in Charlotte, North Carolina

Our Water Treatment Technologists:Serve as a primary technical contact with CH2M municipal and industrial water clients to inspire client confidence and satisfaction to create market domination and differentiation.Successfully develop and deliver Water Market projects in areas that include, but are not limited to, master planning, water resources, water storage, conveyance, water treatment for distribution, evaluation of existing treatment facilities, water treatment plant process troubleshooting, rehabilitation of aging infrastructure, asset management, capacity analysis, water modeling, chemical and energy optimization, value engineering, design, permitting, operation and maintenance.Demonstrate successful project management performance based on safety compliance and project performance including: budget and schedule, technical quality, client satisfaction, project team satisfaction and business unitexpectationsTravel regionally and globally when needed to develop client relationships and deliver projects.Prepare planning documents, reports, and studiesProvide high quality technical expertise in chemical/physical and/or biological water management and treatment.Exhibit a strong understanding of water chemistry principals, modeling and ability to solve complex water chemistry challenges.Work with applicable water and wastewater regulations and compliance strategies that maximize operating flexibility and reduce total project costs.Ensure effective and efficient communication and collaboration with all disciplines involved in managing projects.Help develop and ensure the ongoing success of a high performance team through mentorship and staff development.Develop internal relationships at CH2M to support the overall growth and success of the firm's operations and to contribute to cross-business unit activities.Understand business principles of consulting and design projects and related project delivery tools and metrics.Ensure quality of projects and efficiency of project delivery.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline • Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months
