CH2M is looking for a Project Manager to join our established and growing Colorado Springs office, working on a range of projects that make a difference to our local communities.
We are looking for a Project Manager to provide engineering and management support water resource and stormwater projects in the southern Colorado region. The successful candidate will join an established and dynamic team in Colorado Springs working on a range of projects that make a difference to local communities and the environment. You will take on a key role of managing and leading colleagues to meet clients’ needs involving; • Identification of outline solutions for a variety of engineering and stormwater management challenges • Progression of projects through feasibility, alternative analysis, design and construction. • A proactive approach to client and stakeholder interaction • Coordination of the project and design teams, locally, US wide and globally • Responsibility for financial, risk and change management. • Mentoring for more junior colleagues • Promotion of technical assurance • Involved in promoting and marketing CH2M’s services in the industry • Benefit through support from a Manager of Projects for your own career development
The minimum qualifications for this position are:Colorado Professional Engineering License • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with previous management experience. • Confident with a client facing role and in representing CH2M independently at joint project meetings. • A demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver on time and budget with the appropriate level of quality • Understanding of contractual and financial issues associated with project management • Technical experience in stormwater engineering • Independent thinking and problem solving skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Be a flexible team player, to be able to work with different skill groups in the office, across offices and globally. • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
