PROCESS MECHANICAL ENGINEER-CORVALLIS, OR
CH2M is seeking a full-time Process Mechanical/ Engineer Lead to join our growing team in Corvallis, OR. As Process, Mechanical Engineer/Lead you will provide support to design and design/build projects for water and wastewater municipal clients. You will fill leadership roles on multi-discipline teams. Our projects bring innovative solutions to our clients’ water/wastewater challenges locally and worldwide. You should be a self-motivated, detail oriented, quality driven, team focused professional. Join our team and help us lay the foundation for human progress.Our Process Mechanical Engineer/Lead:• Develop technical solutions• Perform detailed design• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and CAD staff• Manage a team of multi-discipline staff of small projects or large facilities• Manage work to a scope, schedule and budget• Facilitate effective communication between team members
The minimum qualifications for this position are:• BS or MS Degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or other engineering discipline with a focus on water/wastewater systems• Minimum of 8 plus years engineering experience in water/wastewater systems for municipal or industrial clients• PE License
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• Two (2) plus years managing multiple staff, either a single discipline or multidiscipline as a design manager, project manager or facility lead• Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects• International project experience• Resident Engineer or field start-up services experience• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and participating in diverse team• Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem solving skills
