Delivery of H&S programs for our clients to help them better understand their risks and compliance requirements, and implement strategic plans to reduce risks and improve compliance.

As the Health & Safety (H&S) professional you will have the chance to delivery H&S programs for our clients to help them better understand their risks and compliance requirements, and implement strategic plans to reduce risks and improve compliance. Working with other members of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage H&S initiatives on client sites and in our internal teams. Support client senior management teams to select, develop and implement H&S programs and management systems. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to work on H&S compliance projects for clients including implementation of work plans, setting budgets, and developing project schedules as well as proven experience in managing teams of technical specialist to develop H&S solutions with clients that also meet environmental guidelines. The minimum qualifications for this position are:

· Managing and implementing H&S programs · 5-10 years demonstrated experience in operations and/or consulting environments. · Degrees in disciplines (e.g.: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.), masters degrees, and additional health and safety related certifications preferred. Performing H&S program implementation assessments · Conducting H&S compliance and conformance audits · Developing and delivering H&S training materials and programs · Developing H&S safety management systems and procedures (e.g.: OHSAS 18000, OSHA VPP, Process Safety Management (PSM), etc.) · Facilitating H&S risk identification and mitigation assessments · Design and implementation of H&S information management systems · Fostering internal relationships to support the overall growth and success, mentoring junior-level staff, and stewarding client satisfaction

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: • Health: fatigue management, heat stress programs, fitness for duty, health risk assessments and mapping, Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring/sampling, NORM sampling, etc. • Personal Safety: fall protection, chemical safety, energy isolation, fire safety, driving safety, confined spaces, forklift operations, personnel and critical lifts, machine guarding, electrical safety, task risk assessments, etc. • Process Safety: P&IDs, management of change, permit to work, process hazard analysis, mechanical integrity, contractor safety, pre startup-up safety reviews, and emergency response plans, etc. • Electrical & Mechanical Safety: Experience with NFPA 70E, general electrical safety, Lockout Tagout program development, machine guarding, inherently safer design, NEC requirements, ANSI Standards, ASTM and UL criteria, and system safety analysis method, etc. • Hold certification(s) such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), &/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). • Degrees in additional disciplines (e.g.: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.), masters degrees, and additional health and safety related certifications preferred.
