Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer
We are looking for a highly motivated water treatment engineer with graduate school and/or internship experience, a positive attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, and a willingness to work on a variety of water/wastewater treatment projects including conducting treatment facility pilots, studies, evaluations, design, and commissioning. Our Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineers: • Provide field investigation and water quality testing of full-scale water treatment facilities • Conduct desktop treatment analysis • Write technical memorandums • Interact with clients to help identify and solve issues • Operate pilot water treatment facilities • Design and develop project specifications • Commission water/wastewater treatment facilities • Candidate should anticipate initial local travel for facility inspections with eventual travel to remote projects or design centers to support design

The minimum qualifications for this position are: • Master’s degree in environmental engineering or civil engineering with an environmental engineering specialty • Graduate level coursework in water or wastewater treatment processes • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: • Previous intern experience with a consulting firm serving water municipal clients • Graduate level research examining water treatment processes • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and participating in diverse teams • Have experience in working with local municipalities, state, university, and/or private clients in engineering roles • Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills • Strong technical writing skills • Possess an outgoing and positive attitude, be dependable, and meet all assigned project deadlines • Desire to work in the field for short or long periods of time
