Senior Benefits Analyst: will work at the direction of and with guidance from the U.S. Health & Welfare Benefit Plans (Sr.) Manager.

Develop, implement and plan management of certain U.S. Health & Welfare benefit plans and programs as determined by the U.S. Health & Welfare Plans Manager. These ancillary programs may include Wellness, Expatriate Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, Leaves of Absence, Executive Physicals, Craft Benefits and third party administration, Commuter programs, Equal Benefit determinations, Union program support, etc.

U.S. Health & Welfare Benefits Open Enrollment project management, processes, administration and communications

Support and participate in all Tier 3 Global Benefit functions including the selection of, negotiation with and management of vendors.

Participate in Global Benefit projects and initiatives covering medical, Rx, dental, FSA, HSA, life, disability, paid-time-off and unpaid time off programs.

Compile and prepare plan data and statistics for management reporting and review.

Support on the implementation of new vendors & programs, changes in administrative practices and new compliance requirements.

Assist in the review, drafting and restatement of Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary of Material Modifications, Policies and program communications.

Identify and implement vendor process improvement initiatives including but not limited to vendor interfaces with Tier 2, vendor claim processing and member services, etc.

Participate in periodic vendor performance audits, annual performance standards/guarantees review, financial audits & 5500s.

Ensure plan compliance with legislative requirements and plan governance procedures are adhered to. Support on Benefit design and integration for mergers and acquisitions

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

A strong working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, FMLA, COBRA and HIPAA.

A proven record of improving processes, implementing and integrating programs and ensuring the compliance of Benefit programs.

10 or more years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within Department and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred

Excellent written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
