This position is responsible for the leadership and management of project/program construction activities. This may take the form of direct responsibility to the client or being provided directly to the Project/Program Manager who maintains the primary client relationship and accountability. The incumbent is responsible for delivery of a construction task within a very large construction project. Technical, Financial, Strategic, Team, and Client/External Stakeholder Levels of Complexity are all minimal. This role is developing an understanding and application of the knowledge and skills (competencies) required to be a construction manager; developing an understanding and application of the BD/PD Process; familiar with the technologies and delivery methods underpinning the project solution to be delivered; and understands how the project impacts own BG’s performance. He/she provides motivation and direction to the project team, and may lead a large corporate project. Decisions have an impact on the resource requirements, scope/schedule/sequence of project activities, client and/or team satisfaction, risk profile, quality, health/safety/environment, and financial performance of a project.Our Construction Management Professionals:

  • Lead and manage the construction project team through site mobilization, execution, and demobilization activities, consistent with established project delivery processes to ensure the orderly, efficient, and timely completion of the project scope in accordance with requirements specified in the contract documents.

  • Perform onsite activities including construction supervision, field administration, procurement, and field engineering.

  • Complete the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met.

  • Provide support to BD activities leading up to the award of the project.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • High School Diploma

  • At least 10 years of construction management experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Certified Construction Manager

  • Wastewater facilities experience
