DESINER 2, GAINESVILLE, FLCH2M is seeking a full time Designer 2 to join our growing team in Gainesville, Florida. This position is responsible for preparing drawings and sketches using CAD Workstations, appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals often working closely with engineers to coordinate designs. OUR DESIGNER 2:• Typically takes a personal lead in completing daily tasks and understanding personal task requirements.• Demonstrates proficiency beyond basic CAD operations such that the individual is capable of providing support to others on the project team.• Checks own work, and may check the work of others, for errors and omissions prior to submittal for review.• Demonstrate proficiency in CH2M’ standard software• Demonstrate proficiency in CH2M CAD standards, drawing management system and plotting software.• Reads and follows project’s automation plan.• Accesses and applies the Automation eLearning demonstration videos at the beginner level.• Develops proficiency in basic 3D modeling.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:• H.S. Diploma and Trade School or Associate Degree or equivalent experience• 2+ years’ experience as a 3D Modeling Designer
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• Experience working in industrial projects (water/wastewater, transportation, aviation, etc.)
