As the Advanced Facilities Project Manager, we will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting global projects. At CH2M, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the National Governments advanced secure facilities. You’ll work with government clients leading technology changes in data management and supporting advanced secure facility and infrastructure needs. Each day you will be an important team leader as you participate in the design, coordination, planning, execution and supervision of the technical aspects of client’s facility projects. You should be a self-motivated, detailed oriented Engineer or Architect with minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management and have prior advanced facility project experience. You should have project delivery experience and technical skills to execute multiple projects. You must be effective at listening to a customer and developing a project scope that meets the client’s needs. This role would ideally be based in our Greenville, SC, Washington D.C or Portland, OR office, but other US locations and possibly teleworkers could be considered. Our Project Manager: • Plans, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program or project from conceptual design through construction. • Is customer focused with a personal drive and reputation for meeting commitments and providing innovative solutions. • Leads development of proposals, presentations, cost estimates and sales materials. • Manages multi-discipline project delivery; ensures compliance with overall project objectives. • Complies with applicable regulations and client guidelines for design, project documentation and records. • Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitors progress to maintain schedules and budgets; identifies and documents change scope. • Interacts with architectural and engineering discipline leads to ensure compliance with project objectives. • Manages technical support during construction. • Possesses a broad technical background and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and self-perform work, along with managing it. • Is comfortable in different roles including business development, staff leadership, project execution and quality improvement. • Acts as the Company representative at the client site for project execution. • Mentors and coaches technical discipline staff on the project, including providing support for staff career development. The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or architecture or closely related degree

  • Professional Engineering or Licensed Architect

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management

  • Advanced facilities project management experience with multiple clients to include data centers, secure government facilities and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) design

  • Project Management experience with DOD and other government clients

  • Secret Security clearance or eligibility to obtain

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • PMP certification

  • Masters degree in engineering or architecture

  • Current resident of the Washington D.C., Greenville, SC, or Portland, OR metro area

  • 15 or more years of relevant experience

  • Current Security Clearance
