As the Strategy and Sales Client Account Manager for the intelligence community, you will actively manage and grow these accounts within the U.S. and globally.
Clients would include all intelligence agencies that are within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to include Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the United Started Department of Defense intelligence agencies which include: Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Security Agency (NSA), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Twenty-Fifth Air Force (25 AF), Army Military Intelligence (MI), Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). As a Client Account Manager, you will play a lead role in expanding our accounts for the United States Government Defense Intelligence community in the United States and globally. You will build upon your current and extensive relationships and networks with DIA, NSA, NGA, NRO, 25 AF, MI, MCIA, and ONI; with DNI and CIA as a plus. Working with other members of our team, you’ll lead and participate in developing a client account strategy that develops client relationships and networking; client engagement and marketing plans; competitor differentiators; and the addressable market to grow and increase market share across CH2M service offerings. You will lead and participate in proposal efforts; support business development teams in client development initiatives and pursuits; and serve as Account Manager for Intelligence clients. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to lead and participate in business and client development tasks, including sales meetings and presentations, proposal development, and overall account management; work collaboratively with technology, project delivery, and business development teams; coach junior and mid-level staff in account management and business development practices; and travel domestically and internationally to meet with clients and develop/expand CH2M’s project portfolio. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
B.S. or M.S. in architectural, engineering, or construction related field
At least 15 years of experience in sales, client account management and associated procurements within the US and globally
Client contacts in the intelligence market developed during a minimum of 5 years of specific experience within the intelligence community (NGA, NRO, DNI, CIA, DIA, NSA and FBI)
Previously developed and won facility and infrastructure contracts in the intelligence community
Intelligence background with experience in the private and public sector
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Understanding of US Operations and Host Nations in the European, Pacific and Middle East Theatres
Thorough understanding of the intelligence procurement system
Business operations, profit and loss management and sales acumen
Understanding of program and project management delivery systems
For operations and project delivery – understanding of contracts, terms and conditions, and profit and loss structures at the contract, program and project levels.
Sales knowledge on how to identify contracts well in advance, respond to RFPs/solicitations, interview and win new work
Have an active top secret security clearance, holding an IC badge
Have familiarity using intelligence community acquisition portals to include the Chantilly and Hanover ARCs (acquisition resource centers)
Knowledgeable of IC community physical security accreditation requirements (ICD-705)
