CH2M Tool Install Structural Engineer - Hillsboro, OR in Hillsboro, Oregon
This role will perform Structural Engineering for a semiconductor manufacturer’s Tool Install program.

Our Tool Install Structural Engineers have expert knowledge of procedures and technical concepts and apply expert knowledge of regulations and standards to assignments. You should possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, a minimum of 5 years’ of experience in conventional aspects of design engineering/analysis and technical support, and have a strong desire to grow both personally and professionally with each project
Our Tool Install Structural Engineers:
Blend well within a team of Structural Engineers and Structural Designers in the development of design packages to support the Tool Install program.
Act as the stamping Engineer of Record.
Interact directly with the client, other disciplines, and contractors in all phases of design; construction-phase services are limited to RFI responses.
Provide technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.
Coordinate with, and provide guidance to, third-party engineers for dynamic analysis of vibration-sensitive tools.
Possess excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills.
Exhibit high level of attention to detail and quality control.
Manage many concurrent projects, meeting the technical, schedule, and budget needs of each without sacrificing other commitments.
Thrive in a fast paced, team environment, with tight deadlines and a demanding client.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
5 years’ of experience in conventional aspects of design. engineering/analysis and technical support.
Professional Engineer License (PE) in the state of Oregon (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
MS graduate Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
6-10 years’ of experience in conventional aspects of design engineering and analysis.
Professional Engineer License (PE) in the state of Arizona.
Tool Install experience.
