CH2M Client Service Manager/Project Manager for Ports and Maritime Practice – Miami, FL in Miami, Florida

Our North America Ports and Maritime practice and the Miami office are growing.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who want to deliver and seek out challenging projects that really make a difference to our communities. You will join an established and thriving Ports & Maritime practice and will work on maritime projects ranging from new port developments, container terminals, marine oil and LNG terminals, protection schemes for our coastal communities, regional resiliency projects, and waterfront developments for a range of public and private sector clients across the globe. You will have the chance to lead in the delivery of our wide-ranging portfolio of maritime projects and work as part of an integrated and forward thinking team. As a key member of our growing Ports and Maritime practice you will be an integral part of our plan to continue expanding our business and help continue to make CH2M the industry-leader in the Ports and Maritime sector. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the delivery and management of maritime projects, preferably within the South Florida area. Candidates possessing knowledge of local Florida-based clients, such as PortMiami, Port Everglades, the Port of Palm Beach, and/or other private and public clients involved with the waterfront are preferred but not required. Preferred candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams, both domestically and internationally. Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. Your key responsibilities will be to: • Work collaboratively with our coastal, geotechnical, mechanical/electrical, and marine structural engineers and other technologists to successfully manage and deliver our Ports and Maritime projects • Help grow our portfolio of maritime projects in the South Florida region with a primary focus on PortMiami • Work collaboratively across our client sectors, practices, and offices • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues and clients • Manage the successful delivery contract documents, design basis, technical specifications, and other client deliverables • Manage and deliver projects and/or tasks to budget • Assist in the development of technical approaches and fees for proposals

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent

8 years of experience in the delivery and management of maritime projects, preferably within the South Florida area
