Support municipal water/wastewater clients in the Carolinas while having a hand in transforming tomorrow.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our high-performing team in the Carolinas. The position will focus on the leadership and management of water and wastewater projects for CH2M’s North and South Carolina municipal clients. As a Project Manager in one of our Carolinas offices (Greenville, Raleigh, and Charlotte) you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of public sector clients in the Carolinas, across the country, and globally. Our local portfolio of projects includes water and wastewater design, master planning, asset/utility management. The position requires excellent technical skills combined with an acumen for client service and accountability. Our Water Project Managers:
Guide, develop, and lead project teams.
Effectively communicate with clients to develop collaborative solutions.
Discuss project results and recommendations with clients to facilitate informed decision-making.
Manage packages of work to time and budget.
Work on multi-disciplinary teams with other Carolinas and global staff.
Support the sales and business development team.
Utilize your experiences to offer unique solutions to client needs.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
At least 8 years competency in working with municipal and/or industrial clients in engineering or project management roles.
At least 8 years of experience in written and verbal communication of project plans and presentations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Master’s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in serving water and wastewater municipal and/or industrial clients involving a wide variety of planning, consulting, design and construction services.
At least 4 years of experience leading and managing project teams on consulting projects.
