CH2M Sr. HR Partner-Sacramento, CA in Sacramento, California

This position will provide HR leadership for an assigned group of employees within a defined Geography.

  • Responsible for providing business partner consulting and functional expertise in all aspects of Human Resources as required to support business operations across California. Plays a key role in the delivery of HR services and work processes in close coordination with the Enterprise HR process owners and leadership.

  • Implements business planning, strategic and change management initiatives.

  • Provides people leaders the coaching and guidance necessary to develop excellent people management and supervisor responsibilities.

  • Progresses the HR value proposition as an informed business partner and by advocating and assisting to drive business objectives.

  • Provides guidance in interpreting and applying compliance, regulations, policy, procedures and employment law & contractual obligations.

  • Provides input for the development and utilization of HR metrics, data, work processes, systems and tools to effectively manage the business operations.

  • Drives business units’ staffing strategy

  • Participates in local recruitment, interviewing and hiring activities ensuring compliance with required OFCCP applicant tracking requires

  • In partnership with the Geographic compensation representative, ensures market competitive compensation is achieved.

  • Manages the delivery of compensation programs.

  • Provides direction for talent management programs to ensure consistency.

  • Monitors potential labor relations issues amongst assigned employee populations

  • Ensures compliance with Enterprise Labor Relations policies

The minimum qualifications for this position are:BS degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience required. Must have current knowledge/experience with California employment law.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Certification as required by discipline, of area(s) of expertise. PHR or SPHR preferred. Masters preferred
