Our Facilities Program Manager position is responsible for the success of a facility management services program at our client’s college campus facilities in Tucson, AZ. The Program Manager will perform as an agent for the company and point of contact for the client; manage a staff of 20-30 including: maintenance technicians, engineers, maintenance supervisors, and planning/scheduling/financial personnel. The Program Manager will hold profit and loss responsibility for the project. The position includes frequent client interaction with intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction. Each day, you will represent CH2M and our client as you take responsibility for ensuring that all safe work practices are being followed by the staff working on the client site, and will have considerable responsibility in the operations and infrastructure of the facilities. You should be a self-motivated professional with a minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management in office/classroom, or related facilities, and have a desire to grow personally, as well as professionally. Our Facilities Program Managers: •Are responsible for safe work practices of both CH2M staff and subcontractors which includes implementation of CH2M Target ZERO program. •Are excellent communicators and effective people leaders! •Solid experience managing teams in excess of 20 staff with proven ability to motivate employees. •Have experience managing projects related to facilities infrastructure. •Are project management professionals, capable of succeeding in cost controls, budgeting, scoping, planning, estimating, procurement, scheduling, change management, tracking, contractor dispute resolution, and leadership of other Project Managers. •Provide inspection of facilities and work; planning, programming and scheduling; repair and maintenance; quality control; preventative maintenance. •Work on cost control duties; records, reports, contract compliance; procurement; subcontracting. •Are responsible for coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods and procedures to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency. •Serve as the on-site point of contact for all formal interface discussions of property management through maintenance service with client. •Have full authority to negotiate change orders, new work and subcontracts with client and subcontractors as required. •Direct recurring repairs, service and maintenance work, resolve technical problems. •Monitor cost control, financial reports, budgeting and overall operating costs. •Provide engineering expertise for design, production, planning, budgeting and control. Hire administrative and maintenance personnel. •Monitor and inspect maintenance, repair and service operations for quality control and contract compliance. •Ensure management and contract reports are accurate before submission to corporate management and client. •Develop contingency, emergency operation, safety, fire prevention and property maintenance management plans in concert with owner’s plan. •Have strong technical knowledge of all facilities maintenance and operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:BS degree in Engineering or 10 years of experience in Facilities management •Technical knowledge of traditional facilities management systems and utilities such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, mechanical, waste water and electrical systems •Experience managing staff including: engineers, technicians, maintenance supervisors, financial personnel
