Our Senior Highway/Roadway Project Manager jobs provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting and engaging projects ranging in size from large-scale infrastructure improvement programs to local entity arterial improvement projects.
Each day, you will have the opportunity to utilize your transportation planning and roadway design expertise to lead transportation-related projects. CH2M’s Henderson, NV office is seeking a high energy, team player to join our team as a Senior Highway/Roadway Project Manager. This position will allow you to use your technical experience, manage projects, and mentor and direct junior staff. You should be a self-motivated professional with 10-15 years of related experience along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Registration as a PE in the state of Nevada is required. Prior experience winning and managing large scale NDOT projects is preferred. You will have the opportunity to pursue and manage multi-discipline transportation projects for our various public entity clients throughout the state. Our Senior Project Managers: • Assist in project pursuits to Win work, including client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, oral presentations, and contract negotiation consistent with established business development processes. • Lead successful delivery of quality projects through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract. • Lead project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, and scheduling performance. • Coordinate design activities and meetings between staff, subcontractors, and CH2M clients. Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety and organization of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff. • Identify schedule and cost variances and develops and implement recommendations for corrective action. • Help grow the Project Manager resources of the firm through the coaching of others and participating in the development and delivery of learning events. • Interact with CH2M project teams and client program level directors. • Complete tasks within schedule and budget with teams comprised of different disciplines. • Have strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. • Perform engineering and/or planning tasks for transportation related projects. • Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages. • Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing transportation related projects. • Lead and support safety plan implementation for each project.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
10-15 years of related experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Registration
PE in the state of Nevada
