Our U.S. Government Affairs Internship provide you with the chance to work with staff members in our Government Affairs department assisting with covering a wide array of events, as well as research on an as-needed basis. You should have successfully completed 2 years of undergraduate schooling, have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office/ Excel, have excellent oral and written skills, problem resolution capability, decision-making skills, and a sense of initiative. You should also have the desire to grow personally and professionally with each challenge. Our U.S. Government Relations Intern responsibilities include: Research / Writing o Legislative Voting Records & Member Research Bill/Amendment Background o Federal Regulations o Federal Register o Competitive Grants o International Projects / Country Background o State and Local Government Affairs Background on company work in individual cities or states Congressional Hearings / Markups o Coverage & Memorandum Events o Congressional Events o Public Policy Forums General Administration Assistance o Scheduling, documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel, etc.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program

  • Formal leadership experience

  • Proficient with MS Office
