CH2M Electrical Foreman - Anchorage Fab Shop in Anchorage, Alaska

This position is located at the Anchorage Fabrication Shop. Successful candidates must be able to commute to and from Anchorage on a daily basis. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Our Electrical Foreman:

  • Assist the E&I Planner in job planning and work scheduling and coordinate the activities of Crafts Supervisors and Foremen to ensure effective operations and productivity

  • Supervise and control the execution of all electrical functions of the assigned project and outline work program,

  • designating critical areas and priorities

  • Review and approve field manpower requisitions for the employment of craft labor

  • Provide detailed scheduling of daily construction activities and coordination between CH2M and subcontractors to

  • avoid conflicts

  • Analyze electrical requirements and other critical items to determine the best work method

  • Supervise electrical operations in accordance with company, client and agency health, safety & environmental policies

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Must possess current Alaska Journeymen Fitness Certificate

  • Associate‚Äôs degree in electrical technology or a four (4) year apprenticeship program may be substituted for four (4) years of field experience, provided the industrial electrical experience requirement is met

  • 5 years of Petrochemical or Industrial Electrical experience

  • 3-5 years of effectively managing and leading Electrical technicians
