CH2M Mining Water Project Manager - Denver, CO in Englewood, Colorado

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be the trusted advisor and expert consultant to our mining clients for anything to do with water management, and work with the #1 ranked industrial water engineering firm in the world in 2017. Working with other members of the team, you'll provide consulting into preliminary design (feasibility stage gate) with growth into major project delivery; help grow our consulting business in mining water management, treatment and crossing over to mine closure planning. During your time with us, you'll be working with our world renowned senior technologists, evaluate and improve the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project goals; prepare planning documents, reports, and studies. The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (civil/environmental, chemical, mechanical)

  • At least 10 years experience as a consulting PM, with strong technical background

  • At least 5 years experience in mining water management

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 15-20 years experience, with significant portion in mine and other industrial water management/ treatment

  • MS in engineering with emphasis on water treatment or related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Working knowledge of the water envelope in multiple industries.

  • Ability to synthesize solutions across the water envelope, considering all of the services we can offer for water and environmental management.

  • Experience in industrial water management/ treatment, especially for clients in the Oil and Gas Sectors, Chemical, and Power Sectors.
