As a Proposal Coordinator, you’ll be an integral part of Jacobs’ sales organization to plan, lead, and support a variety of assignments on strategic pursuits, and to position Jacobs for success. Working with other members of the team, you’ll work on a variety of proposal activities, ranging from qualification statements to strategic, complex proposals and presentations; you will engage with pursuit teams on sales process discipline, win strategy and proposal development, interviews, and presentations; as well as independently lead the coordination, writing, and preparation of proposals of varying sizes in conjunction with more experienced sales staff. The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • BS/BA in management or technical discipline OR 7+ years of relevant proposal management experience in lieu of degree

  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing and developing proposals, presentations, and related sales or business development deliverables

  • Proposal experience in the engineering, architecture, and/or construction industries

  • Advanced English writing, editing and proofreading skills, with an eye towards sales messaging, themes, proposal aesthetics, and content

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to travel occasionally up to 15%

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Marketing and proposal experience for U.S. federal clients, including SF330s

  • Knowledge of our company markets, partner/competitor/sub-consultant firms, clients, emerging business, and industry trends; and the ability to actively integrate that knowledge in work activities

  • Adobe creative suite (In-Design)

  • Experience producing graphics for proposals

  • Willing to travel as needed to support pursuits
