As the Stormwater Inspector in Honolulu, HI you will have the chance to make a difference in the community through solving the exciting challenges facing our water clients. Working with other members of our team, you’ll operate primarily in a third party stormwater construction inspection role, but will also support engineers and scientists within the water team in the Honolulu office. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to work on studies, designs, and field assignments for wastewater, stormwater, water supply, drainage, and conveyance projects. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field
At least 1 year of construction inspection experience.
Stormwater certification, or the ability to acquire such.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field
Successfully passed the FE Exam, with the ability to obtain professional engineering license within 3 years.
At least 2 years of civil engineering design and CAD experience
Competence in design disciplines including site civil, wastewater, and conveyance.
Experience writing technical reports
Experience developing scopes of work and associated budgets
Experience using at least one of these softwater packages: AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation, InRoads, HEC-RAS, ArcMap
