As a Principal Industrial Water Technologist/SME, and key member of our leadership team, you'll get a chance to work with the #1 ranked wastewater treatment engineering design firm in the world and support varied processes for wastewater treatment with a focus on the Oil and Gas Downstream and Petro-Chemical industries. Working with the water services team, you'll develop differentiating approaches for client proposals and lead teams in delivering innovative and new technology applications to meet client needs and ensure that design perspectives are considered in technology selection and finalizing engineering packages. During your time with us, you will effectively work with clients to develop water / wastewater characterization and basis of design, alternative evaluation, treatability testing, process definition, conceptual design through to construction and operation for raw water treatment; as well as provide high quality technical expertise in water / wastewater management and biological treatment; as well as help develop and ensure the ongoing success of a high-performance team through mentorship and development. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
At least 25 years of experience (including being the subject matter expert) for applicable industrial water treatment and biological wastewater treatment projects including O&G downstream.
At least 20 years experience writing and communicating complex technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering or related engineering and science discipline.
Licensed Professional Engineer Proven experience leading technical project teams and working with project managers to deliver successful projects to our clients.
Ability to travel across North America and worldwide.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Masters or PhD in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering. Well-published and is a recognized subject matter expert for biological wastewater treatment projects.
