As a Junior Mechanical HVAC/Fire Protection Design Technician in Portland, OR, you will have the chance to collaborate with other engineering disciplines to coordinate designs, routing concepts and supports. Working with the other members of our team, you'll perform a variety of design tasks in the initial planning and design of equipment, systems, and processes. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge of semiconductor facility systems and associated utilities, understand pipe and duct routing principles, space coordination requirements and gain experience using Revit. You will develop schematics, plan drawings and installation details and develop pipe and duct routing concepts with knowledge of required support concepts as well as seismic and thermal design criteria. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
High school diploma/GED required
AutoCAD experience required
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Mechanical HVAC design experience preferred
Revit experience preferred
Associate's Degree ( AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
2 years of design experience preferred
