As the Civil Engineer, you will have the chance to support our clients in transportation, site civil and environmental projects. Working with other members of our team, you’ll support engineers and scientists delivering planning studies, designs for construction and permitting documentation. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to:

• Develop designs, drawings, cost estimates and specifications, including preparing digital terrain models and CAD designs. • Write technical reports. • Experience realization of designs as a CH2M representative on construction sites, observing construction compliance with the design and facilitating communication between construction and office staff.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering field • Coursework in transportation, environmental, and water resources engineering • 2 years or more of professionally relevant experience • Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification • Practical, hands-on experience with a consulting firm delivering site civil, transportation, or solid waste projects • Experience using several of the following software packages: Microstation, InRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, ArcMap • Experience working on construction sites
